What are your real identities?
C’mon. You know we won’t tell you that.

Why not?
Because it’s truth we’re trafficking here. Truth about people, truth about events,
truth about motivations and intentions and propensities and claims. Sometimes
even truth about the very nature of truth. And there are some that don’t want you
to see truth or learn how to find it for yourself. So this is a perilous endeavor and
we need to take precautions.

If I need to meet with one of you in person, can that be arranged?
We understand that occasionally it may be necessary that we meet some of you in
the flesh – send an email to conjecturesandelaborations@gmail.com explaining why
you need to meet. If it is merited, we will arrange for a meeting with you under
appropriate circumstances and with due security precautions in place.

What is the significance of your pseudonyms?
To get through life you need intelligence, inspiration and laughter. So we are The
Sage, The Muse and The Jester. This is somewhat misleading because our names
suggest that we hold these capacities singly: that one of us is wise, while another is
inspirational, and yet still another funny. Each of us tries to bring all of these things
to each other and to you.

How did you guys meet?
We have known each other for a long time. And we promise you that we are an odd
pairing arising out of circumstances and events that could not be reasonably
guessed or surmised. No, that does not mean did time together in jail. It means that
the “glue” that binds us together in friendship and in mission is not the ordinary
stuff you can find at your local church or charity or pub.

Will you endorse political candidates?
We have discussed this amongst ourselves and this remains an open question. Stay
tuned on this point.

Do you profit from either the blog or the podcast?
No. And we never want to. We will not risk creating the appearance that our
motivations are anything other than what they in fact are. We tell you what we
believe to be the truth, why we think it to be so, and what its ramifications are. No
matter where it takes us and no matter whom it might anger. Our message is not
the product of lobbying or in service of any other interest.

Do you accept suggestions for future topics?
We accept any suggestions. We can’t promise that we’ll act upon them but we
promise that we will read each of your emails and consider them with an open mind.
Who knows? If we think you’re persuasive enough, you just may find yourself
joining us on an episode of our podcast as a special guest. On word of caution: we
insist you drink with us!
